<span style="font-size: small;">Washington, December 26 : Toddlers with good language skills are
better able to manage anger later in life, a new study suggests.</span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Children with good language skills at age 2 expressed less anger
during frustrating situations at age 4 than did those 4-year-olds with
less advanced language skills, according to the study''s findings.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">Children whose language skills developed quickly also expressed less anger at age 4.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">The new study followed 120 children from 18 months old until they
were 4. Children periodically underwent tests that assessed their
language skills and their ability to cope with frustrating tasks. One
task asked children to wait for eight minutes before opening a present
while their mother finished work.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Two aspects of language appeared to help children rein in their
anger. First, more-developed language skills allowed kids to ask for
support from their parents during a frustrating situation (for instance,
asking the mother whether she was finished with her work). Children
also used language to occupy or distract themselves from becoming angry.
(One child dealt with the waiting task by counting for a full minute.)</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">"Better language skills may help children verbalize rather than use
emotions to convey needs and use their imaginations to occupy themselves
while enduring a frustrating wait," said study researcher Pamela Cole, a
professor of psychology at Pennsylvania State University.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">The study was recently published in the journal Child Development. (ANI)</span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFQPcgc1S5bGlqpk8z3RPFDRZbdsk8T2HZXG5SydplKoYvc635oJpvUDNxUp2RVqSl_znMKVsp65-YX_JOr5VRA4DpNBAG5PCiGX-gnQRWSgoAspQYytaK0ek_UWyUqEn6AUfOJ_Jhl-uk/s1600/images.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFQPcgc1S5bGlqpk8z3RPFDRZbdsk8T2HZXG5SydplKoYvc635oJpvUDNxUp2RVqSl_znMKVsp65-YX_JOr5VRA4DpNBAG5PCiGX-gnQRWSgoAspQYytaK0ek_UWyUqEn6AUfOJ_Jhl-uk/s200/images.jpeg" width="200" /></a></div>
<span style="font-size: small;">Chocolate milk tops the list when it comes to fueling yourself after a hard session at the gym.</span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">This is because every cup of chocolate milk contains between eight and 11 grams of protein.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also found
that, when taken immediately after exercise, milk-based proteins promote
greater muscle protein synthesis than soy-based proteins, Fox News
reported.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">Finally, another reason why post-workout chocolate milk is beneficial
is because cow''s milk contains about 80 percent casein protein content
and 20 percent whey protein content.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">This is ideal because the whey protein is fast-acting, allowing amino
acids to get right into the muscle tissue, while the casein protein is
digested slower, providing a steady stream of amino acids over a
lengthier period of time.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">In addition, drinking chocolate milk after workout also provides carbohydrates.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">The total carbohydrate count will vary depending upon the brand you
choose, with most coming in around 20 to 25 grams of carbohydrates.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">This sugar will cause a spike in insulin levels, driving the glucose
molecules into the muscle tissue and replenishing the energy stores for
your next workout. Without this insulin spike, you''re going to be
looking at a slower recovery period, which could mean more time out of
the gym.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">A study by the International Journal of <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1">Sports Nutrition</span>
had subjects perform three interval-style, exhaustion workout sessions
on separate days, and then monitored the recovery that was demonstrated.
The subjects consumed either chocolate milk or a carbohydrate
replacement fluid post-workout.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">It was seen that after the recovery period was over, those who were
drinking post-workout chocolate milk showed enhanced performance between
the interval sessions, indicating that the carbohydrates in chocolate
milk were doing a better job in recovery than the carbohydrates in the
replacement beverage.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">Chocolate milk also contain calcium, which is one of the minerals
that plays a critical role in the "power stroke" - when the individual
muscle fibers generate tension through a cross-bridge cycling pattern,
causing contraction to take place.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">The calcium ions are what bind to the plasma membrane and send one of
the first signals to stimulate the power stroke. So, without enough
calcium ions in the body, this process will not take place optimally.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">By drinking post-workout chocolate milk you will increase your daily
calcium intake, and increase the likelihood of an optimal power stroke.

Adding a missing protein to infertile
human sperm can "kick-start" its ability to fertilise an egg and
dramatically increase the chances of a successful pregnancy, researchers
say.
<br />
A team of researchers from Cardiff University first found that sperm
transfers a vital protein, known as PLC-zeta (PLCz), to the egg upon
fertilisation.<br />
<br />
This sperm protein initiates a process called `egg activation' which
sets off all the biological processes necessary for development of an
embryo.<br />
Now, the team has found that eggs that don't fertilise because of a
defective PLCz, as in some forms of male infertility, can be treated
with the active protein to produce egg activation.<br />
The added PLCz kick-starts the fertilisation process and significantly improves the chance of a successful pregnancy.<br />
<br />
"We know that some men are infertile because their sperm fail to
activate eggs. Even though their sperm fuses with the egg, nothing
happens. These sperm may lack a proper functioning version of PLCz,
which is essential to trigger the next stage in becoming pregnant,"
Professor Tony Lai, who led the study with Professor Karl Swann, said.<br />
<br />
"What's important from our research is that we have used human sperm
PLCz to obtain the positive results that we had previously observed only
in experiments with mice.<br />
"In the lab we have been able to prepare human PLCz protein that is
active. If this protein is inactive or missing from sperm, it fails to
trigger the process necessary for egg activation - the next crucial
stage of embryo development.<br />
<br />
"However, when an unfertilised egg is injected with human PLCz, it
responds exactly as it should do at fertilisation, resulting in
successful embryo development to the blastocyst stage, vital to
pregnancy success," he added.<br />
The study has been published online by the journal Fertility and Sterility. (ANI)</div>

<span style="font-size: small;">5 ways to make the six super-fast weeks between Thanksgiving and New Year's as sexy has been revealed.</span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Karen Siff Exhorn has compiled a list that appears in the Huffington
Post that details tips on how to have more sex during holidays.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Firstly, she says, couples should eat, drink and enjoy! They should
try sexy holiday foods to get themselves "in the mood?" Chocolate can be
tried for this purpose - the darker the better. It has had a long-held
reputation as an aphrodisiac, and the antioxidants in dark chocolate are
great for promoting sexual vigour, the reported.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Another way to have more sex is by including wine, as alcoholic
beverages have been used to stimulate the libido since ancient times.
Wine that is spiced can be a potent aphrodisiac. Red Burgundy, which is
mixed with ginger, cinnamon, cloves, vanilla and sugar is known as
Hippocras aphrodisiac. White port is a powerful aphrodisiac, especially
when it is paired with strawberries.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Or, couples can play strip dreidel to spice up their romance in the holidays.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">Right after a hearty game of strip dreidel, couples could also engage
in Mistletoe Madness. During this activity, both the partners get naked
and wave a mistleoe over each part of the body that needs some kissing.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><span style="font-size: small;">Having more sex means less stress. The act of engaging in sex will actually get couples in the mood, and after a sexy <span class="IL_AD" id="IL_AD1">romp</span>, their bodies will experience a hormone release, which triggers the sense of relaxation and relief that they crave. <span style="font-size: small;">Mustardseed yesterday traded with the negative node and settled
-2.34% down at 4083 weighed by expectations of higher arrivals in the
coming days. Indian farmers have cultivated rapeseed on 5.22 million
hectares as on Nov. 23, compared with 5.07 million hectares during the
same time last year. Rapeseed output is likely to grow nearly 25 percent
to 6.5 million tonnes, industry officials said. The sowing of rabi
oilseeds, particularly mustard has surpassed last year, as winter has
arrived in most of north and central India which would increase the
export of edible oil next year. The production of mustard seed is
critical to determine the extent of edible oil import needed every year
as it is the biggest oilseed crop during the rabi season. Mustard had
been sown on 5.71 million hectares till Thursday as per the latest
report.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> The area sown is 5.64 million hectares more than the sowing
during the corresponding period last year. The government has fixed a
target of 8.19 million tonnes in 2012-13. Rajasthan mustard sowing was
2.58 million hectares till Thursday, up 2.8 per cent from last year,
according to the data. Rajasthan is the biggest producer of mustard seed
in the country. In 2010-11 the production was 81.79 million tons. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">According to the fourth advanced estimates, the production in 2011-12
would be 67.76 mt and the estimated target for 2012-13 is 81.93 mt. In
the Sri Ganganagar spot market in Rajasthan the price edged down by
-37.5 rupee to 4225 rupees per 20 kgs. In yesterday's trading session
Mustardseed has touched the low of 4071 after opening at 4175, and
finally settled at 4083. For today's session market is looking to take
support at 4041.7, a break below could see a test of 4000.3 and where as
resistance is now likely to be seen at 4153.7, a move above could see
prices testing 4224.3.</span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Trading Ideas:</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">RM Seed trading range for the day is 4000-4224.</span><br />

Lahore, August 28 : Out-of-favour Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shahzad, often criticised for his attitude, is not ready to accept the allegations about his lack of discipline, insisting that he has done nothing wrong.<br /><br />Shahzad has a history of disciplinary issues since his club-cricket days, and his attitude problem was first highlighted in 2008, when the then team manager Abdul Raqeeb had reported his disruptive behaviour during the ICC Youth World Cup in Kuala Lumpur.<br /><br />He has since been dropped several times from the national squad, and his recent conduct on Pakistan’s West Indies tour forced the team management to recommend special counselling for him, noting that he had come from a ‘disturbed’ background.<br /><br />“I am here to take all criticism but there is no need to bring my family into it. We belong to a Pathan family and we do not tarnish our family’s reputation,” The Express Tribune quoted Shahzad, as telling reporters.<br /><br />“I don’t know what I did, but if the management thinks that I have done something wrong, they should talk to me about it. I haven’t done anything wrong, so I don’t really know what I should be looking out for,” he maintained.<br /><br />Shahzad, who was not only snubbed from Pakistan’s squad for the Zimbabwe tour, but also the list of centrally contracted players, expressed his disappointment over the same.<br /><br />“I’m not sure why I’ve been omitted from the squad despite scoring runs,” he said.<br /><br />“The disappointment is obviously there after being dropped from the squad and the central contract list. But I’m young and have a lot of cricket ahead of me. I will continue to play at domestic level and keep myself up there with the performance. The rest is up to the selectors,” he added. (ANI)</div>

<span style="font-size: small;">Delhi Daredevils all-rounder Irfan Pathan senses his group has
sufficient wise-heads to embark upon the complacency matter for the rest
of the Indian Premier League (IPL).</span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Irfan stated that Delhi Daredevils, who have consolidated their place
on the top, were concentrated on winning their first title.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Daredevils have presented an extraordinary turn this season after
ending up last during the last year (2011), and are almost ascertained
of being the first group to meet the criteria for play-offs.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Pathan added that it was simple for players to drop their strength
level from here on but senior players comprising Virender Sehwag, Mahela
Jayawardene, Kevin Pietersen and Ross Taylor were assisting them stay
grounded. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: small;">"It can easily happen but luckily we have a good group of guys who
know how to approach each match. They have been very smart with their
play," Pathan added.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Pathan also valuated the work done by head coach Eric Simmons, who was previously the fast bowling coach of the Indian group. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Referring to their comprehensive win against CSK April 10, Pathan
stated, "Eric Simmons is keeping a check on us all the time. After the
Chennai game, I remember he wanted us to learn from our mistakes even
though we won comfortably. The support staff also has a huge role to
play and they are making sure we think about the process of winning
every match and not looking at winning the competition. We are very
aware of how quickly things change in </span></div>

<span style="font-size: small;">Swiss authorities have expelled a member of its football team taking
part in the London Olympics 2012, on Monday due to his threatening and
racist remarks against the South Koreans on micro blogging site,
twitter.</span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">The comments were posted by Michel Morganella just hours after
Switzerland's foot ball team lost to South Korea in the mega sporting
event.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Swiss Olympic team chief Gian Gilli said that Morganella
"discriminated against, insulted and violated the dignity of the South
Korea football team as well as the South Korean people." He was speaking
through a translator at a news conference. He added that Morganella is
stripped of his Olympic accreditation.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Morganella was part of the team that lost to the South Korean team
2-1. He wrote in the tweet that South Koreans "can go burn" and referred
to them as a "bunch of mongoloids." He later released an apology
statement through the Swiss Olympic team.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">"I apologize sincerely to the people of South Korea, to the players,
but equally to the Swiss delegation and Swiss football in general. It's
clear that I'm accepting the consequences. After the disappointing
result and the reaction from Korea that followed, I made a huge error,"
he said.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">This is the second such incidence for this year's Olympics in which
an athlete has been expelled due to racist remarks online. Greek triple
jumper Voula Papachristou was expelled earlier from the national team
because she posted objectionable remarks on the internet.</span></div>
